Method 1:Uninstalling the software using the Settings option

  • Click the Windows icon on the display of your computer or laptop.
  • Go to Settings and click Devices. Click Printers & Scanners.
  • Choose the name of your printer & click Remove Device.
  • Tap Yes to confirm the process.
  • Thus the printer software gets removed from the Windows 10 computer or laptop.

Method 2:Removing the driver utilizing Control Panel

  • Click the Windows icon on the display of your Windows system.
  • Search for Control Panel and select it in the result.
  • Click Hardware and Sound --> Devices and Printers.
  • Go to the Printers section and right-click on the name of your printer. Click the Remove Device option.

Method 3:Deleting the printer software using Print Management

  • Type the printui.exe /dl /n "YOUR-PRINTER-NAME" command and tap Enter.
  • Replace YOUR-PRINTER-NAME with the exact name and model of your printer.
  • Thus the software of your printer gets deleted on your computer.

Method 5:The printer software deletion using PowerShell

  • Select the Windows icon on the display of your computer.
  • Type Windows PowerShell in the search bar and select it in the result.
  • Choose the Run as Administrator option.
  • Type the Remove-Printer-Name "YOUR-PRINTER-NAME" command in the screen.
  • Type the name of your printer near Name.
  • Now your computer deletes the printer software.

Installing The Printer Software On Windows 10 Computer or Laptop

  • You can install the printer software on your Windows 10 system using the Windows Built-in Print Driver.

  • Firstly, download the latest version of the full feature printer software on your system.

  • Note: You can download the software either by using the software CD provided in the printer package, or the Driver Download button given on this page.

  • Click the Windows icon on your computer.

  • Click the Search field and type Change Device Installation settings.

  • Tap Yes and click Save Changes in the Device Installation Settings window.

  • Execute the connection between your printer and computer by going through the instructions on the screen.

  • You can execute the connection either by using a wired or wireless connection.

  • Carry on with the instructions on the display and complete the printer driver installation process.
